AWA Alexander Watson Associates is a global business-to-business market research, publishing, and consulting company with a unique industry focus on the specialty paper, film, packaging, coating, and converting industry. AWA’s division, AWA Conferences & Events (AWACE) organizes international conferences and a growing portfolio of workshops and training programs. AWACE is looking for a full-time Administrative Conference Assistant who will contribute to the organization and production of AWACE’s events by performing operational tasks that are fundamental to the events’ structure and content.
Tasks:

Handling and tracking the process of delegate registration, confirmation and invoicing
-
Maintaining the conference email box and answering incoming queries (by email and phone)
-
Producing selected event materials such as: PowerPoint presentations, workshop manuals, name badges, delegate lists, standardized emails, feedback forms and such.

Shipping of materials
-
Updating AWACE website
-
Adding AWA events in Calendar of Events of applicable industry online publications

Database input
-
Assisting in telesales activities
-
Assisting with the follow up of speakers and sponsors, collecting and processing their materials (via telephone and email)

Onsite assistance at national events
Requirements:
-
Relevant education at MBO-level
-
1-3 years of working experience
-
Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Accuracy and initiative is imperative

Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must. Understanding of Indesign is a pré

Hands-on and can-do mentality
